Breakfast on board Another tasty lunch Malestroit Flower bedecked lock barge Libje Front cabin wildlife on the canal cruising the nantes Brest canal

Food and drink

All cruises on board Libje include breakfasts and lunches. We either serve lunches on board or it will be included at a restaurant ashore if we are on an excursion at the time. Nobody should leave without eating at a proper Breton Creperie at least once!

The menus below are simply a sample and you can expect a wide variety as Jane loves to utilise whatever is freshest and best on the day. Brittany is famous for its seafood and the markets here have an excellent selection.

Jane has won a regional final of the Tesco Seafood competition and also ‘Country Living’ magazines’ Professional Cook of the Year’ award.

We now offer 3/4 board instead of half or full board. This means that we supply all breakfasts and lunches as above. We also offer 3 evening meals either on board or at a restaurant. Guests eat ashore at their own expense when we are at Malestroit, Josselin and Rohan. This means that we can charge less than full board and you get to enjoy a restaurant of your choice and price point 3 times during the week. We can advise on which restaurants should suit you.
